Water-based ink:

Oil-based ink:

UV-curing ink:

Colloid ink:

1.What can dissolve screen ink?
Apply a small amount of acetone to a cloth. Gently rub the printed area. The acetone will begin to dissolve the ink.

2.Is screen printing ink permanent?
Screen printing ink needs to be heat-set after it is applied to the fabric to make the ink permanent. Without this step, it may fade when washed. Most water-based inks may require a heat-setting step to be permanent.

3.How to remove dried screen printing inks?
If your ink has dried severely, then you may need to use a screen cleaner to soften the ink before removing it. Look for the safest, most environmentally friendly screen cleaner you can find, or a less corrosive alternative. While these can remove the ink, they will also protect your screen and stencil.

4.What is the shelf life of screen printing ink?
Typically our solvent-based screen printing inks have a shelf life of 5 years. UV-curable inks can usually be stored for 1 year.

5.Does screen printing inks need to be cured?
Curing the print is one of the last steps in the screen printing process, but it is also one of the most important steps. The ink needs to cure properly so that it blends into the garment. If the ink is not fully cured, it will crack, fall apart, and will not last very long.
