Tear Tape for Cigarette Overwrap & Packaging Lines

Cigarette Tear Tape is a narrow opening strip applied to the overwrap film of cigarette packs. When pulled, the tape creates a controlled tearing path through the outer wrapping film, allowing the pack to be opened without searching for a separate tool.

We supply cigarette tear tape for packaging manufacturers, tobacco packaging suppliers and commercial packaging lines, with customizable options for substrate, width, thickness, adhesive, color, printing, roll length and core size.

The tape can be specified according to the customer's overwrap film, application equipment and opening requirements.
