Fabric Printing Ink

Screen printing ink is widely used. According to the different printing materials, it can be divided into: fabric printing, plastic printing, metal printing, ceramic printing, glass printing, electronic product printing, etc. Fabric printing ink should be stored in a cool and dry place. After opening the can, UV ink must be placed in a refrigerator and avoid exposure to light.

Product Introduction
fabric printing ink

Our products are suitable for fabric printing. Our fabric printing ink has strong wear resistance, fast film formation speed after printing, quick drying, convenient and safe use and storage, which is conducive to safe production and improved working conditions of operators. Since solvent-based or oil-based screen printing inks belong to the category of dangerous goods, transportation, storage and use are quite inconvenient. Environmentally friendly high temperature resistant water-based screen printing ink uses water as solvent, which is safe and reliable to use without any danger. You can use water to clean the equipment and wipe your fingers.

Notes

1.When mixing inks, try to minimize the mixing of different colors of inks. The fewer types of inks used, the better the mixing effect.

2.When mixing colors, follow the principle of "from light to dark". Whether mixing light or bright color inks, be extra careful when the color is close to the sample. It is best to avoid mixing inks produced by different manufacturers, and try to use different color inks produced by the same manufacturer for color mixing, otherwise it may cause uneven tones, and in severe cases, it may even be scrapped due to ink condensation.

3. Some screen printing inks need to be cured by drying. After drying, light colors are usually lighter than when they are not dried, while dark colors are darker. It should be noted that the color of the ink may differ during the drying process before and after printing, which is often overlooked. Generally speaking, under natural drying (i.e. solvent evaporation type ink), the color of substrates such as plastics, metals, paper, glass, etc. does not change much; but for ceramic pigments, since they need to be colored after burning and oxidation, color mixing can only be done based on experience. In addition, the color of screen printing inks that are dried by heat or light curing will also vary in depth. When mixing a large amount of ink, an ink mixing machine can be used to efficiently complete the color mixing in a short time.

FAQ

1.What fabrics are suitable for fabric screen printing?
Screen printing is suitable for most fabrics, including natural fibers (such as cotton, linen), synthetic fibers (such as polyester, nylon) and blended fabrics. Different fabrics may require different types of inks to achieve the best results.

2.What are the advantages of screen printing?
The main advantages include bright colors, wash resistance, suitability for large-scale production, complex multi-color patterns, and good adhesion and durability on a variety of fabrics.

3.Is screen printing environmentally friendly?
Environmentally friendly water-based inks can be used, which do not contain harmful solvents, are more environmentally friendly, and are suitable for clothing printing with high environmental requirements, such as organic cotton T-shirts.

4.How durable is fabric screen printing?
After the printed pattern is properly cured, it has excellent durability and can withstand multiple washings, friction and daily use without fading or peeling. The durability of the ink also depends on the type of ink used and the fabric material.

5.What is the difference between screen printing and thermal transfer?
Screen printing directly prints ink on the fabric, while heat transfer is to print the pattern on transfer paper first, and then transfer it to the fabric surface by heating. Screen printing is more suitable for mass production, and the pattern is more durable; heat transfer is suitable for small batches and personalized designs.
