I have an existing Heidelberg conventional offset press. Can I directly use your company's UV-LED-curable fast-drying inks? Do I need to modify the equipment or replace parts?

 

There's no need to modify the core components of the Heidelberg SM 102 (ink rollers, ink tank, and platen mechanism). Using UV-LED-curable fast-drying inks (such as the QD-F200) requires only two simple modifications:

Installing an LED curing module: We offer lightweight LED modules compatible with this press (costing 8,000 yuan per unit, significantly less than traditional UV curing systems). Installation can be completed by two engineers in six hours.

This does not affect the original functionality of the equipment.

Parameter fine-tuning: Adjust the ink scraper pressure from 0.3 MPa for standard ink to 0.25 MPa (to prevent excessively thick ink layers due to the slightly higher viscosity of UV inks). Maintain the pH value of the fountain solution between 4.8 and 5.2 (same as standard inks).
